A system without cell phone and battery backup may be too easily defeated. A good system incorporates infra-red and motion detection, as well as door and window sensors. Make sure the system will automatically activate the alarm if any of the sensors are "jumpered". Ask your security system installer about this feature. Be certain the company monitoring the alarm is certified.
